Welcome to Taldrwst:

Taldrwst is a recently refurbished former gentleman’s residence set in 9 acres of land in the village of Dwyran on the south side of Anglesey.

The house has been tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard, with 4 en-suite bedrooms, and one family room with easy access to the main bathroom.

It has a large lounge/dining room with a comfortable three piece suite and television. All rooms have full central heating.

There is a splendid panoramic view of the Snowdonian mountain range, with Snowdon itself seen clearly from the front bedrooms.
Many of the most popular tourist attractions are close to the village of Dwyran and visitors can enjoy lovely walks on various footpaths nerby, and along the sandy beach at Newborough to the light house and old pilot cottages at the picturesque and historic Llanddwyn Island.

Discover the remains of the ancient church which was founded in the 5th century by Dwynwen who became the Welsh parton saint of lovers, making her equivalent to the english saint Valentine.
“Half Light” featuring the actress Demi Moore was filmed here recently.

Within 10 miniutes drive you can enjoy Plas Newydd owned by the National Trust and is the home of the present Marquis of Anglesey. Also nearby is the Anglesey sea zoo, where a part of ‘Blue Planet’ was filmed, and the open farm of FOEL where hand made chocolate is a speciality.
Within walking distance is the Anglesey Model Village, - well worth a visit, and a short drive away is the Anglesey Racing Circuit which has recently been extended.
